133 Days To Mt. Kilimanjaro – Relaxing On The St. Sebastian River

Some Sunday’s in Sebastian are made for relaxing.  Today it was just one of those days. The weather was stunning as usual this time of the year.  Geoff started his day riding his bicycle and playing a round of tennis with Jack.  I started my day pouring over Parkinson’s research, updating the blog and relaxing with a cup of coffee and my favorite view of the St. Sebastian River.

Last night there was the most beautiful full moon shining over the river.  It may well have been the most beautiful one yet.  I have been standing on our balcony watching the moon for more than four years now,  but there was just something about this one that I need to secure in my mind forever.

Not too impressive in a photo - Breathtaking in person - I want to remember it forever!

We spent the afternoon enjoying burgers along side the water.  It is a great little outside marina area in Sebastian and we were even allowed to take Kili to lunch with us.  As always, Kili steals the show with his cuteness – he has no idea how cute he is, and when I tell his story of being our little rescue Yorkie, people immediately fall head over heals in love with Kili.

I must admit, I did not do a thing too physical this weekend unless you count the hundreds of times I walked up and down three flights of stairs taking Kili outside.  It was just one of those weekends that I decided to have a little rest and relaxation.  We all deserve a weekend off right?  Plenty of time to train next week!
