One of the greatest contributions Michael J. Fox has made (and there have been many) since starting the Fox Foundation in 2002, is to open up communication between all groups studying Parkinson’s disease in order to benefit others working to find the cure. This has not always been the case in the area of medical research. The Fox Foundation continues to lead the way in combining the efforts of medical researchers, academia and the public sector with one common goal of finding a cure.
